In December 2018, IFC’s Sustainable Infrastructure Advisory has successfully completed its Mongolia Multi-Stakeholder Water Management in Mining program. The IFC-convened industry roundtables are transitioning to a local secretariat, Sustainability East Asia, throughout January. The Secretariat will continue to work with the mining sector, government and community representatives on water issues and monitor compliance with the IFC brokered code of practice on responsible water management.
